Hedgehogs Are People Too

"whereas before she looked like a nutmeg-grater, after she
resembled an abortive hedgehog."
Act2.1.29-30

I find this whole passage funny in that Bosola describes how an old lady tries to "paint" herself so she can look different. In the same way the two brothers of the duchess make themselves seem stately and good people. Its also peculiar that Bosola, who is working for these two painted men, tells this story. Given it may serve as a comedic break, it still has some good parallels to the plot. Also, I find hedgehogs adorable.
